Rome (IP)- Concurrent with the International Day in Support of Yemen, a number of Italians held anti-Saudi rallies in various cities, including Rome.

Iran PressEurope: A group of Italian activists gathered in Rome in front of the Italian House of Representatives to demand an end to the shipment of weapons from Western countries, including Italy, to Saudi Arabia, and an end to the war in Yemen.

Italian activists have condemned the continued massacre of Yemenis, especially women and children, by the Saudi coalition, as well as the continuing siege of the country.

Francesco Rocca, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, also described the situation in Yemen as 'grave' and warned that the continued siege of the country by the Saudi coalition had put Yemen on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe.
