Moscow (IP) - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister discussed important regional and international issues focusing on West Asian issues and the possible approach of the new US administration to the issues of the region.

Iran Press/Europe: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin also discussed some important issues of cooperation between the two countries at the United Nations and in other international and regional organizations.

 The two diplomats also talked about regional issues including Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, as well as human rights.
