Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on the sidelines of the "Soldier of Imam Khomeini's School" ceremony, Naser Abu Sharif added that Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani has also played a key role in Gaza Strip, which was thoroughly occupied and surrounded by the enemy.
He highlighted that Lt. Gen. Soleimani was behind missile development in Gaza to fight against the Zionists, stating: "We had never planned to target the enemy utilizing the Iranian Fajr missile in 2012."
Qasem Soleimani has hardly worked to unite Palestinian groups to fight against Israel and the US, Abu Sharif said.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement representative, Abu Sharif, underlined that Lt. Gen. Soleimani fought Takfiri terrorist groups established by the US and Israel.
The cause of Palestine was Lt. Gen. Soleimani's priority, and he always supported that, underscored the official.
Lt. Gen. Soleimani loved Iran's Islamic Revolution and the Iranian nation. That is why he stood firmly against the enemies' plots, Abu Sharif noted.
