Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the Iranian COVID-19 vaccine and possible reactions to it after the injection, Mohamad-Reza Shanehsaz noted that fortunately there had been no report on any reactions to the vaccine yet.
Shanehsaz added that to produce the coronavirus vaccine, 6 Iranian companies were active by using various methods. "One of them is with a new combination method. The animal trial phase is undergone successfully and it is based on Iran's FDA's rules and regulations."
"It takes years to issue the license for the approved coronavirus vaccine and it is time-consuming, but in order to control the disease, countries, and resources have defined special rules to produce, export, and import the vaccine as fast as possible," Head of Iran's Food and Drug Administration said.
"To produce or import the vaccine, the Islamic Republic of Iran is also following the international rules and also urging the companies to act upon it in order to contain the disease at a faster pace," he stressed.
