Iran Press/Iran news: In response to Iran Press' question on human vaccination time, Saeed Namaki pointed out that the vaccination process has been done hastily nowhere in the world, as long as it is not wise to do so.
Any coronavirus vaccine news must directly be announced by the health minister, Namaki added.
Any effective or less effective medicines on coronavirus have been made in Iran under sanctions, shortages, and pressures imposed by the world, said the minister.
Iran is in rather proper conditions rather than other parts of the world in terms of COVID-19 death, infection, and hospitalization rate.
‘Qasem Soliemani Anti-coronavirus Plan’ has worked perfectly, and its death, infection, and hospitalization rate have fallen to a significant extent with nonstop medical staff and people's efforts, he noted.
“Unfortunately, the UK government has announced the new variety of the virus with delay. The virus is highly contagious and has high adhesion, so Iran has taken proper measures,” he said.
About 10,000 people have volunteered to participate in clinical trials of an Iranian-made vaccine for the coronavirus.
