The Israeli regime has continued its attacks on healthcare facilities in Iran, the latest of which targeted a children’s hospital in Tehran early this morning.

The attacks are an attempt to demoralise Iranian medical personnel, but officials say the healthcare system remains resilient.

The Ministry of Health spokesperson, Hossein Kermanpour, confirmed this is the third hospital to be hit in just one week. He also stated that six ambulances and a comprehensive health centre have been targeted, adding that the Israeli regime has been repeatedly violating international law.

The attack on the Tehran hospital occurred at approximately 4:45 AM local time. According to reports, the sound of explosions reverberated throughout the capital.

The targeted hospital, a 266-bed facility affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences, was a prominent centre for paediatric care. Its destruction represents a devastating blow to the city’s healthcare infrastructure and raises serious concerns about access to medical treatment for children.
