Iranian ambassadors condemn assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh

Tehran (IP) - In separate messages, ambassadors of Iran in various countries condemned the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist in Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: "The Iranian scientist was assassinated in a terrorist attack; can we expect the European Union, which claims to respect and protect human rights, be to condemn these atrocities politically and without discrimination?” Wrote Iran's ambassador to Sweden, Hamid Masoumifar, on Twitter.

"The cowardly assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense is a crime against humanity," Iran's ambassador to Senegal, Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, wrote on Twitter.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its scientific progress in the nuclear field," Hassan Irlo, Iran's ambassador to Yemen, wrote on his Twitter account in three languages of Arabic, Persian, and English, condemning the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist. The Iranian embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan also condemned the cowardly, vicious, and adventurous assassination of a nuclear scientist, declaring that such terrorist crimes would not cause the slightest interruption in the path of the Iranian nation to the peaks of pride and authority.

The Iranian Ambassador to UK Hamid Baeidinejad stated in a message: “The assassination of Dr. Fakhrizadeh as a dedicated scientist is a clear violation of international law as well as human rights’ values and standards. We expect the UK government to unreservedly condemn this crime and act of provocation. Iran maintains its right to retaliation.”

The Iranian embassy in Italy also condemned the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientist by the enemies of Islamic Iran, announcing: "Without a doubt, the intruders on the security of Iran will receive the necessary response in due time."

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense was martyred in a terrorist attack around Tehran on Friday evening.
