Bauchi (IP): Rasulul A'azam Foundation, an Islamic organization in Nigeria, has organized a program to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima (as), daughter of the holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his households).

Iran Press/Africa: Many Muslims gathered on Sunday at Madrasatu Sumayya, an Islamic school and center for Ahlulbayt followers in Bauchi State. There, they listened to recitations of the holy Qur'an, songs for Hazrat Fatima, and lectures from different scholars about the virtues and life of the holy Prophet's daughter.

Sheikh Ahmad Sani Haris was the first scholar to speak on Fatima's virtues, mentioning her devotion and contributions to educating people. 

Malam Hassan Mainasara who came from Dandume town of Katsina State also graced the occasion, where he lectured on the life of Sayyeda Fatima (as).

The scholars mentioned many lessons from her life such as her generosity, compassion, her obedience to Allah as well as her love and good care for her husband and children, and called on Muslims to emulate her.

In Abuja capital of Nigeria, members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria also celebrated the birth anniversary of Sayyeda Fatima (as), where Sheikh Abdullahi Ashura conducted a lecture.

Hazrat Fatima, daughter of the holy Prophet was married to Imam Ali, the first successor and cousin of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
