Philadelphia residents took to the streets to celebrate Joe Biden's lead in Pennsylvania on Friday.

Iran PressAmerica: As the vote count in Pennsylvania approaches to its end and Biden is likely to declare victory,  anti-Trump activists are planning a big party on the streets of Philadelphia, according to the Washington Post.

Philadelphia is the largest city in the state of Pennsylvania.

With the resumption of the counting of votes in the state of Pennsylvania, Biden, the candidate of the Democrats, has been able to win 3 million 308 thousand and 42 votes, equivalent to 49.5% of the votes putting him ahead of Donald Trump, the candidate of the Democrats.

So far, 98% of the votes in the state of Pennsylvania have been counted.

Biden is ahead of Trump in the electoral vote.

Each candidate must get at least 270 electoral votes to enter the White House.

Crowds gathered outside of Pennsylvania's Convention Center where votes continue to be tallied, carrying anti-Trump signs and pictured in a sea of pride colors, Black Lives Matter t-shirts, and masks.
