Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has dismissed the recent annual report by the US Department of Homeland Security as baseless and unfounded.

Iran PressIran news: In a statement, Baghaei emphasized that these repetitive and baseless accusations, which have been raised by some US officials and institutions in recent months, are politically motivated and primarily serve domestic purposes.

The report claims that certain countries, including Iran, have utilized artificial intelligence (AI) to spread disinformation or divisive content related to US presidential elections.

He further remarked, "The US government, with its long history of illegal interference in the internal affairs of other nations, is in no position to level such accusations against other countries."

Baghaei’s comments reflect Iran’s firm rejection of claims linking it to election interference through AI-driven campaigns.
