Tehran (IP) – The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and the candidate for the 14th term of the Iranian Presidential election said that the current challenges of the country are rooted in the inefficacy of managers.

Iran PressIran news: In a televised address on Saturday, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said that late President Rais stepped in along with the Parliament to shift the development rail of the country to its proper path. 

Ghalibaf referred to the budget deficit as one of the challenges and said: "There a question is raised, that is when we have a budget deficit today, does it mean that we don't have money, we don't have wealth and assets? The answer is No, 19.5 percent of the world's oil reserves are in Iran."

"Out of the 19.5 percent, 66 percent is our gas reserves and 34 percent is our crude oil, apart from these, their mines; we enjoy a good transit position, including east-west and north-south corridors, which are made golden and unique opportunities for our foreign exchange earnings," he went on.

Ghalibaf said that the country has passed the critical situation and shifted from stability to dynamism and stressed that the Iranian nation would not let the enemies bypass them.

He reiterated the country needs strong management to have development in economic, political, and cultural areas, saying that he believed in the employment of young people to manage the country's affairs. 

Addressing the people, the candidate of the 14th term of the Iranian Presidential election remembered them of the fact that the country is at a critical point in history and that they should make a great decision for the development of the country's economy and progress and the prosperous future of the next generations.
