Tehran (IP) - The leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei delivered a speech on the occasion of the 35th demise anniversary of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini, on Monday, June 3, 2024. Referring to the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the Western countries all confessed that there was no way out for Israel after the Palestinian operation.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution commemorated Imam Khomeini and noted that whatever Imam Khomeini predicted regarding the issue of Palestine has come true.

He addressed the issue of Palestine and referred to the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by the Palestinian resistance groups, sating: "The Western countries all confessed that there was no way out for Israel after the Al-Aqsa flood operation."

He said that the operation was an irreparable blow to the Israeli regime, adding that the Israeli regime was at the beginning of its end. 

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the turbulent situation of the regime itself with the occupied territories and said that theIsraeli analysts believe chaos and agitation among Israeli officials are "at its peak".

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood happened right in its time and spoiled the enemies' plots and Israel's brutal attack on the people of Gaza is a crazy answer to the fiasco, he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei stated that during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Palestinian resistance pushed the Zionist enemy to the corner of the battlefield in such a way that the regime had no way to escape.

He highlighted Imam Khomeini's words that recommended not to be optimistic about compromise negotiations.

"Imam Khomeini said that the Palestinian nation themselves should attain their rights on the field and make the Israeli regime to withdraw."  

The Leader referred to Imam Khomeini's historic letter to the president of the former Soviet Union, where he wrote he was hearing the breaking of the communist regime

What Imam Khomeini predicted about the future of Palestine today is being realized.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the martyrdom of President Raisi and his colleagues while they were serving the people.

He said that the vast participation of the people in the funeral ceremony and farewell to the late president, in Tehran and other parts of the country, proved the fact that the slogans of the Islamic revolution are still alive because the martyred president Raisi was the manifestation of the slogans. 

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that such a participation of the Iranian nation would affect the regional equations.

Ayatollah Khamenei touched on the martyr Rasi's character; he said that the late Raisi made Iran brilliant in the eyes of the world's politicians and never trusted in the enemy's smile.

"Despite the loss of President Raisi, the country managed to fully keep its peace and security," he said.   

In another part of his address, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the importance of the coming snap presidential election and called on people to have a high turnout and create a great epic after the bitter crash incident happened for the late President Raisi.

He considered the June 8 election a highly fruitful event and a complementary part of the people's participation in martyr Raisi's funeral and said: 

To protect the interests and stabilize their strategic depth in the complex international equations, and to be able to show their natural and human capacities and talents to sweeten the country's palate, and also to be able to fill the economic and cultural holes and gaps, the Iranian nation needs an active, hardworking, knowledgeable president who believes in the fundamentals of the [Islamic] Revolution.

The Leader also called on the candidates to observe morality in their election campaigns stressing that the election was an arena of competition for serving the people not a battlefield for seizing power. 

He expressed hope that the Iranian nation could elect a president who would deserve them.
