Tehran (IP)- Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development met with the new Bulgarian Ambassador to Tehran, in which the two sides stressed the readiness to develop economic, transit, and transportation cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: The Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami met with the new Bulgarian Ambassador to Tehran Nikolina Konova today.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the implementation of the agreements reached during the 19th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation.

While thanking Bulgaria for its cooperation in facilitating transportation and transit during the Coronavirus spread, Eslami stressed the need to develop rail transport cooperation, especially scheduled flights, as well as to expand cooperation in other economic and trade fields between the two countries.

It was also decided to hold a follow-up committee to the 19th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in order to implement the previous agreements and set the agenda for the 20th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in the future.
