According to Islamic calendar, Thursday July 30,2020 is known as Day of Arafah or better said the day of supplication and worshiping God when all of the sins will be forgiven and all the penance would be accepted, it is a day when Allah the All- Mighty calls on His servants.

Iran PressMiddle East: Arafah is one of the greatest Islamic feasts and whoever can spend this day in the desert of "Arafat" will be blessed.

They are many actions and prayers to be performed on this very special day, the best of which is praying. Millions of pilgrims Holy Kaaba on the day of Arafah dressed in white go to Mount Arafat. The pilgrims will be in Arafat until the sunset and then they will move to Sacred Site (Al-Mashar Al-Haram).

The rituals of Hajj in Mashar al-Haram continue from dawn to sunrise on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah (Eid al-Adha). Then pilgrims go to Min? where the animals will be sacrificed after‎  ramy al-jamar?t or stoning of the Devil then the pilgrims shave their heads, and celebrate Eid al-Adha. The reason for the animal sacrifice is to represent the task Ibrahim was asked to undertake by Allah. 

Due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, this year's Hajj will be held under strict health measures and through social distancing.

The number of pilgrims is also very small compared to previous years, reaching 10,000, all of whom are Saudi citizens or foreigners living in Saudi Arabia.
