A spokesman for the Turkish presidency said: "The Israeli plan to annex the West Bank is an illegitimate, illegal plan and a way to occupy and extort money."

Iran Press/Asia: Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said: "the international community has shown good unity and solidarity with al-Quds, and must now be united in opposing the West Bank annexation plan."

Ibrahim Kalin said the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the United Nations, the European Union and other relevant institutions, especially the Arab countries and the Arab League should take a clear and unequivocal approach to the Zionist project.

The spokesman for the Turkish presidency said the plan to annex the West Bank to occupied Palestine would destroy any peace, including a political solution, peace and stability, and deepen the current crisis.

From July 1, the Zionist regime, with the support of the US government, intended to officially occupy 30 percent of the West Bank, but with the opposition of the international community, the United Nations and most European countries, it postponed the plan.

The annexation of parts of the West Bank to the Israeli-occupied territories is one of the clauses of the anti-Palestinian so-called 'Deal of the Century', which US President Donald Trump unveiled on January 28, 2020.

Many international organizations, countries, and political and religious authorities around the world, especially Muslims, have condemned the plan.
