Tehran (IP)-Deputy secretary-general of Hezbollah in Lebanon said Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, the late commander of the IRGC's Quds Force had played an important role in the victory of the resistance in Lebanon and Syria.

Soleimani alongside the resistance in Syria and especially in the battle for the liberation of Al-Jarud until 2017, saying, "Quds Force means preparing 20 million troops to liberate Beit-ul-Mogaddas. The army is made up of resistance groups from across the region; Whether in Palestine or Lebanon, Iraq, or Syria. As a result, he was pursuing to equip, train, and the readiness of all forces in all parts of the region."

He added that General Soleimani's daily advice was also available at the time. He also refused to leave Lebanon at the height of the war. Firstly, to save Syria from this war, and secondly, to confront the terrorist group "ISIS" and third to support the forces, whether Iraqi or Afghan or Pakistani or Iranian or any other group, who had come to help Syria, as well as to stand by the Hezbollah forces that were present in the country.

Sheikh Naeem Qasim continued: "Soleimani was the real commander of all forces inside Syria except the Syrian army to face the challenges and finally achieved the victory."

He also worked to save the Syrian people and government from the danger they were facing, as well as to liberate various occupied areas of the country.

Sheikh Naeem Qasim emphasized that the important point in the character of Martyr Soleimani was that he was a military commander and a politician; He had a political-strategic vision and, in addition, a military-strategic vision.

He stated that Martyr Soleimani proved himself as an exceptional figure. This was reflected in his mourning ceremony, which was attended by millions of people across Iran, reflecting the profound impact of his personality and actions at the time.
