Chief Commander the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi

Tehran (IP) - Following the Tehran earthquake, Chief Commander the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi ordered the commanders of the army to be fully prepared to help the crisis management headquarters.

Iran PressIran news: Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi ordered the Army to take the necessary precautions and assess the condition of the units.

He also said that the hospitals, fire departments, and other related centers and facilities must be ready to provide assistance to the crisis management headquarters.j

One person was killed and 33 others were injured, when a magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit northern Iran early on Friday.

After earthquake people huddled in the streets of Tehran in the middle of the night, as they tried to escape from the tremor.

Following the 5.1 earthquakes which hit Tehran Province, all Emergency units are on full alert ready to do service with the observance of health protocols.
