Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi wrote on his Twitter account on Friday that Germany's action against Lebanon's Hezbollah was pursuant of the US - Zionist Regime's goals.

Iran Press/Iran news: Condemning Germany's move in designating the Hezbollah group as a "terror organization", Mousavi said: "it seems that some European countries take their positions without considering the realities of West Asia."

"They take positions by just considering the goals of the Zionist regime's propaganda machine as well as the confused American regime," he added.

Calling the German government decision a "complete disrespect" to Lebanon government and nation, Mousavi stressed: "Hezbollah is an official and legitimate part of Lebanon government and parliament that has always been an influential political party in political stabilization of the country."

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman also underlined Hezbollah's vital role in fighting against ISIS, saying that Germany should be accountable for the negative consequences of its decision.

The German Interior Ministry designated Lebanon's Hezbollah group as a "terror organization" on Thursday and banned its activities across the German soil.
