Iran’s army to hold large exercise after the holy month of Ramadhan: Cmdr. Heydari

Shahroud (IP) - The commander of Iran's Army Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari said that with the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the army, along with other institutions, has joined the field of serving people.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of visiting the combat units of 58th "Zolfaghar' Takavar (commando)  Division of Shahroud in Semnan province on Tuesday morning, Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari stated: "with the outbreak of the Coronavirus, right now the Army is conducting anti-Corona maneuvers  in 24 provinces and 214 cities of Iran."

Noting that 5 field hospitals had been set up in Iran to fight the Coronavirus, Heydari further said: "Being in deprived and remote villages to carry out Corona tests and finding sick people is one of the five measures taken by the Iranian army to fight the the Coronavirus.”

Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari also stated: "After the holy month of Ramadhan and due to the threats, the implementation of a large exercise is on the agenda, the purpose of which is to assess the educational dimension and use the capabilities in various fields." 207
