Noor satellite; pace power representation of IRGC

Tehran (IP) - The first military satellite of the Islamic Republic of Iran was successfully put into the orbit by the IRGC for defense and peaceful purposes.

Iran PressIran news: 'Noor', as the first military satellite of the Islamic Republic of Iran, launched on Wednesday morning and placed it into the orbit at an altitude of 425 km.

The success of the IRGC Air-Space Force is of paramount importance in the field of space and shows that various and legitimate areas of power development can be achieved by relying on domestic capabilities.

The IRGC's military-spatial success, on the anniversary of its founding amid the US unilateral sanctions, proved once again that nothing can block the way of progress. 

The use of legitimate means to strengthen the defense is not just a choice, but a logical necessity to fulfill which the Iranian Armed Forces are doing well in all areas.

IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami pointed to the successful launch of the Noor multi-purpose satellite into space said the successful improved new dimensions of Iran's defense power.

Achieving multi-purpose and diverse space technology is of interest to all countries, and the space industry plays a strategic role in empowering a strong defense force because without being in space, defense plans are incomplete and incomprehensive.

Therefore, achieving a superior defense technology in space that expands the geography of Iran's military capabilities in various dimensions, including intelligence warfare, is a strategic achievement.

The more indigenous the military capabilities of a country are, the more confidently deterrent it will be in due times of need and in the field of competition and diversity of power. Succeeding at launching the Noor military satellite into space is interpreted within the very framework.

The success of IRGC in launching a military satellite into space, the whole process of which is based on indigenous knowledge, is even more important, as it was achieved during the US unilateral sanctions against Iran. 

As the Commander of IRGC Air-Space Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh emphasized, both the Noor satellite and satellite carrier Qased are totally indigenous, and of course, only the superpowers have the capability, and others are only consumers of the technology.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which is currently in its 41, has been a strong military force in various fields of defense, including missile and space, and has consolidated the Islamic Republic of Iran's authority in the West Asian region. 207
