Iran Press/Iran news: The government issued a statement on Wednesday saying: "Iran's anti-terrorism policy is based on the peaceful nature of the Islamic Republic's political system and is being seriously applied and motivated in all areas, including counter-terrorism financing, and our fight against money laundering and financing of terrorism is the will of our people, based on our internal rules that have been approved by successive parliaments and governments."
The statement also said that the Iranian government has welcomed cooperation with other countries in this field and agreed to comply with internationally accepted laws and international standards in line with national laws and regulations.
The statement underscores that ill-wishers, particularly and above all the US government, have plans to 'rebuild an anti-Iran front'.
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) blacklisted Iran recently for what it called failure to comply with international norms against financing of terrorism.
