Iranian Judiciary Chief Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Judiciary Chief said that the US so-called 'Deal of the Century' is in contradiction with international law and it is, in fact, a tricky plot to consolidate aggression.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Judiciary Chief Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said in a statement issued on Wednesday 29 January that the so-called 'Deal of the Century' is based on oppression and aggression against the Palestinian nation, and it is a plot that not only brings no security for the Zionist regime but also institutionalizes insecurity more than ever before in Palestine.

"The terrorist president of the United States, a terrorist regime, will certainly not be able to silence the Palestinian and other world's freedom-seeking people's cry for justice that has emerged today through resistance movement," Raisi stated.

Iran's Judiciary Chief warned the US of  Palestinians and other regional nations' outrage, emphasizing that the US must understand justice is only practiced in Palestine when all of the Palestinians rights are fulfilled, preserved and the Israeli regime ends its occupation of the country.

US President Donald Trump unveiled his peace plan called 'The Deal of the Century' on Tuesday 28 January alongside the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, which received a backlash.

The plan, which has received widespread backlash from Palestinian people, seeks to eliminate the issue of the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland; a plan which is against the UN Security Council Resolution No. 194.
