Iranian Amb. meets Russian Deputy FM in Moscow

Iran's Ambassador to Moscow and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister discussed the recent developments in the region, including the situation in Syria, Iraq, and Libya.

Iran Press/Iran news: Kazem Jalali and the Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov met in Moscow on Friday, discussing bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region, as well as Iran's Hormuz Peace Endeavor (HOPE) Initiative and Russia's plan to secure the Persian Gulf.

Mikhail Bogdanov referred to the martyrdom of the Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, describing him as a great man, Iran Press reported.

Kazem Jalali, for his part, highlighted the importance of Tehran-Moscow relations, emphasizing the willingness of the Islamic Republic of Iran's authorities to expand relations with Russia.
