Belarus (IP) - Iran opened memorial notes in commemoration of martyr Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and the other martyrs of resistance at the Iranian Embassy in Minsk, the capital and largest city of Belarus.

Iran Press/Europe: Belarussian political, religious, cultural, and sporting officials, as well as ambassadors and diplomats from other countries and students, as well as the Iranian expatriates and other Shias from other countries residing in Belarus, attended the memorial ceremony on Friday, 10th January, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was held to open the memorial notes. 

In addition, visitors at the Iranian embassy commemorated those who were killed in a recent Ukrainian plane crash resulted in the death of 176 people.

Earlier, commemoration ceremonies were held in honor of martyred Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani in various countries all over the world.

The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US air-raid in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions.
