IRGC Spokesman Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif (L) and Aerospace Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh (R)

The spokesman of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif has categorically ruled out reports on the martyrdom of its commander of Aerospace Force in Syria as speculation and unfounded news.

Iran Press/Iran News: "As announced frequently, enemies of the Islamic Revolution and the people of Iran are after their sinister objectives in fabrications of lies and publication of unfounded news," he said on Monday reacting to reports that Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was killed in the Zionist regime's attack against Syria.

"General Hajizadeh is in complete health and carrying out the assigned missions," Sharif stressed.

He also said that the indifference of the public opinion to such fake rumors is a proof that the enemies' plots are worn-out attempts.
