Iran Press/Middle East: A rocket fell inside Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone and killed one member of Iraq's security forces on Wednesday, the military said in a brief statement. It did not elaborate.
A rocket had been seen flying towards the Green Zone, which houses government buildings and foreign embassies, and a blast was heard coming from its direction, Reuters witnesses said.
Sputnik also reported that individuals on the ground have noted that two rockets were fired, and that said rockets landed roughly 50 meters from the US Embassy's gates.
?Baghdad's Green Zone, which is also known as the International Zone, is an area within the city where both government offices and foreign diplomatic missions are located. It has been the center of diplomatic missions since the US' 2003 invasion and occupation of Iraq.

The new round of popular demonstrations in Iraq in a peaceful manner began as of October 25, in various cities, including Baghdad the capital, Karbala, Basra, Najaf and other cities in protest to corruption and poor economic conditions.
The Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi's government along with the parliament has put a package of reforms on their agenda.
Meanwhile, the governor of Karbala province in Iraq, Nasif al-Khatabi, said the enemies are trying to subvert peaceful protests in Karbala, deliberately targeting some of the protesters and instigating violence.
