National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) announced that the Iranian oil tanker SABITI is heading to the Persian Gulf after hit by a terrorist blast in the Red Sea.

Iran Press/ Middle East: According to the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Public Relations and International Affairs Department, the Iranian oil tanker SABITi owned by the NITC, has been hit this morning in two separate explosions, possibly in the 60 miles off the Saudi Arabian port of Jeddah at 5:00 am and 5:20 am.

Oil was spilled into the sea after the ship was hit by two missiles, but later the oil leak was controlled.

Fortunately, all of the ship's crew are safe, and the ship is now in stable condition, only the ship's body slightly damaged which the crew is trying to make it through towards the Persian Gulf.

Meanwhile, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Abbas Mousavi condemned the rocket attack, saying that: “Those behind the attack are responsible for the consequences of this dangerous adventure, including the dangerous environmental pollution caused." 205/219
