Iran will become totally self-sufficient in medicine production within three years: Health Minister

Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education has said with the help of 1200 knowledge-based companies, Iran will produce all the medicines that it needs over the next three years.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education Saeed Namaki has emphasized that 97 percent of all medicines used in Iran are manufactured domestically.

Despite the unilateral US sanctions against Iran, and despite all the difficulties we have in importing medicine, Iran has been totally successful in manufacturing and importing medicine, he added according to Iran Press.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved great success in the last 40 years in pharmaceutical production, as well as modern medicine and healthcare.
