Iran's president appreciates the improvement of healthcare services enumerating increasing precision in diagnosis, improving health services and reducing people’s expenses as three main principles of healthcare services.

 Iran Press / Iran News: In a speech on Tuesday among top officials of Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Hassan Rouhani expressed satisfaction over Healthcare Reform Plan, a move in the healthcare system of the country, saying “Today, the unnecessary expenses are avoided and people’s health will be improved”.

Also pointing out to the significance of psychological security feeling in healthcare, the President said “Apart from expertise, a patient’s trust into their practitioner is very important and this constitutes a part of treatment”, the President's website reported.

Rouhani highlighted the presence of practitioners and specialists in less privileged areas, calling the practice of medicine a human duty.

Mentioning the astonishment of many world leaders by the implementation of Healthcare Reform Plan, the Iranian President said "the medical community should be the voice of our nation in the global community in the tough conditions of sanctions and political pressure”. 104/215
