Iran oil minister, Bijan NAmdar Zanganeh

The Iranian oil minister said that in the case of lifting sanctions, Iran can surge its oil production back to the pre-sanction era just in three days.

Iran Press/Iran NewsBijan Namdar Zangeneh made the remarks on the sidelines of the Conference on 'Social Responsibilities of Oil Industry', saying that "Three days are needed to return oil production to the levels before the reduction." Iran Press reported. 

"Despite US sanctions, Iran will continue selling its oil on international markets and the country needs improvement in its foreign relations to instigate exports," the oil minister added.

He also said that Iran's petrochemical industry would experience its second leap by 2021, as petrochemical production would double compare to its level in 2013." 205/218
