Washington (IP) - The commemoration ceremony to honor martyred president Ebrahim Raisi and Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was held in Washington

Iran Press/America: According to Iran Press, the ceremony was held at the Islamic Education Center of Washington DC, the capital of the US.

Many Iranians living in the US, as well as non-Iranian advocates of the Islamic Republic of Iran, were present at the commemoration ceremony in Washington.

Following reciting the Holy Qur'an and eulogizing, the head of Iran’s interests section office in Washington, Mehdi Atefat, delivered a speech at the ceremony honoring the memory of the martyrs of service in Washington.

The helicopter carrying the Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, and his companions, headed to Tabriz, was involved in an accident in the forest area of Dizmar between the villages of Uzi and Pir Dawood.

Ebrahim Raisi, Hojjatul-Islam Ale-Hashem Friday Prayers Imam of Tabriz, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malek Rahmati, General Governor of East Azarbaijan, pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of the security team and one of the bodyguards and several other companions were on board and all martyred along the president.
