Iran Press/ Iran news: In response to Iran Press question on the jurisdiction of the Canadian court about Ukrainian plane, Gholamhossein Esmaeili said: "According to the Islamic Republic and international laws and regulations and the general principles of international rules and criminal investigation in terms of the incident in Iran, the only competent authority would be the courts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, so other countries' courts including Canada, have no jurisdiction over the (Ukrainian Plane Crash) issue at all."
"The verdict of the court is emotional, unscientific, and based on speculation, so it does not have legal and judicial value and necessary documents," he emphasized.
Esmaeili also stressed that the technical report of the accident was sent to various countries by the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and some of these countries sent their comments to Iran and their contents confirm this technical report."
The 44th press conference of the Judiciary Spokesman with reporters from various media outlets was held on May 25th, 2021.
