Tehran (IP) - The British ambassador to Iran announced the reopening of the country's visa issuance center in Tehran from next Sunday and emphasized that to obtain a visa, no intermediary or broker is required and all the required information is online and all the appointments would be given every week.

Iran PressIran News: "I know many people in Iran want to travel to the UK despite the challenges of the Coronavirus," Robert Macaire said in a video posted on his official Instagram account on Tuesday adding: "Many people contacted us or posted messages on our social media asking about when the Visa Center would reopen."

The British Ambassador to Tehran stated: "Therefore, I am pleased to announce that as part of the reopening of the British Visa Issuance Center around the world, the Tehran Visa Center, located in Argentina Square, will reopen on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

"The process of obtaining a British visa is transparent and fair," Macaire said, adding: "You have to provide all the relevant documents and meet the required criteria. No broker is required to obtain a visa. All required information is online and all the appointments would be given every week."

"Anyone can apply for a visa online. People who are planning to apply for a visa can get the latest details on applying for a visa, as well as health measures related to the Coronavirus to protect themselves through visiting the WFS website", concluded the diplomat.  207/219
