A member of the negotiating team of the government in Sana'a said that Britain is spying on Yemeni telecommunication networks.

Iran PressMiddle East: Abdul Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the Sana'a negotiating team, said Monday evening that Britain was spying on Yemeni telecommunications networks and some submarine communication cables.

Al-Ajri, one of several senior Houthi officials part of the delegation in Sweden, stated that the action started from the southern provinces of Yemen; Provinces that have become British bases in order to serve colonial purposes.

Al-Ajri described Britain's spying on Yemeni telecommunications networks as a clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty and the privacy of its citizens, adding that the move was carried out with the complicity of the resigned Yemeni government.
