The port is located between the sea and the mountains, which reached its peak of prosperity on the Persian Gulf in the 4th and 5th centuries AH, and its people were connected to various countries, including Iraq, China, India, and some African countries, through the Persian Gulf.
Siraf Rock Cemetery or cemetery of civilizations is one of the most amazing historical sites in Bandar Siraf. The cemetery consists of old stone tombs that were dug 40 to 60 cm deep in the rocks.
The cemetery has been used in historical periods for different religions, and the regular rows of graves on the steep slope of the mountain are its unique beauty and wonders.
