Iran Press/ Asia News: Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan said that the foreign ministers of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan exchanged views on the relations between the two countries in a phone call.
He added that the Azerbaijani side evaluated these talks positively and believes that the continuation of these talks is important.
Hajizada added: "Mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries is an unchanging priority in the foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Jeyhun Bayramov, held an extensive conversation during two rounds of telephone calls this week in which the developments in the bilateral relations between Baku and Tehran, some regional issues were discussed.
In these direct and transparent talks, existing problems, misunderstandings and solutions to overcome the current situation were discussed, also the two sides emphasized mutual respect for good neighborliness, each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Referring to the conspiracy of the Zionist regime against the unity, security and progress of the countries of the region, Amir-Abdollahian said that only the enemies benefit from the existence of divisions among the countries of the region. 219
