Iran Press/ Iran News: The 80th Naval Fleet of the Army left Bandar Abbas for the free and international waters, accompanied by the military commanders of Iran’s Army Navy Force on Thursday.
According to this report, the 80th naval fleet of Iran’s Army Navy Force was sent to the internship of students of the Imam Khomeini University of Marine Sciences and Technology.
In the maritime mission, Tonb logistics ship, Bandar Abbas logistics ship and Alvand class destroyer of the strategic navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran are present.
According to Iran press, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, at a ceremony held in the port city of Bandar Abbas on Thursday to see off the Iranian Navy’s 80th flotilla of warships.: "If Iran has not used the blessing {of the see} before, It has been due to arrogant and colonial conspiracies."
Rear Admiral Amir Sayyari added: "Having a strong navy and a powerful presence in the naval arena is a condition for using resources and energy in the sea, and if the navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran carries out missions alongside Russia and China today, it signifies its authority."
Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination added: "The Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has escorted 5,000 merchant ships and oil tankers by sending fleets to the date, and if it has not been capable to maintain the country's transportation lines, something like World War I and II would have happened."
Rear Admiral Sayyari emphasized: The Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been able to maintain the security of the country's economic lines, and its resistance and missions have led to the preservation of naval authority and power.
