Israeli Army Radio says three have been killed in a drone strike by the Lebanese Hezbollah on Binyamina in northern Israel.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Israeli ambulance service also said the number of injured is now at 67.

Quoting a source, the Army Radio said Hezbollah succeeded in deceiving the air defense system and fired a barrage of missiles to cover the drone.

The drone fired a missile at Binyamina south of Haifa before exploding.

Hezbollah said its “swarm of drones” targeted Binyamina in northern Israel where at least 39 people have been injured.

Binyamina is located in northern Israel, south of Haifa, and had a population of approximately 16,281 in 2022. It is situated between Tel Aviv and Haifa, about 70 km south of the Lebanese border.

Hezbollah said that the attack was carried out “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people”.
