Iran Press/ Iran News: In a letter to the Commander of IRGC Major General Hossein Salami on Friday, Health Minister Saeed Namaki asserted: “the support by all governmental and non-governmental agencies, NGOs, along with the assistance and cooperation of the Iranian Armed Forces in combating the spread of the Coronavirus in the country is unique”.
"With the start and continuation of the National Mobilization Plan of Fighting Coronavirus, 25 million people have been screened during the past five days and the cooperation is set to create a unique and glorious epic in the international arena, Namaki stressed and noted that it is a prime example of unparalleled empathy and consensus in the country.
The Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) appreciated the Iranian medical community on Thursday, called the Health Ministry a global leader in the fight against the Coronavirus.
Given the latest figures of the Health Ministry, 6,745 people from a total of 19,644 have recovered from COVID-19 since the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran.
The new respiratory virus, known officially as COVID-19, has spread to every continent except Antarctica as well as every single European country.
There are more than 270,000 diagnosed cases globally and at least 11,000 deaths, according to the latest published data. Over 90,000 people with diagnosed cases have recovered.
