Tehran (IP) – On the occasion of 10-Day Dawn, senior commanders of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran renewed their allegiance to the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution in his mausoleum on Monday.

Iran PressIran News: On February 1st, 1979, the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) returned to Tehran amidst an enthusiastic welcome from the people after fifteen years of exile.

Ten days after Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran, on February 11th, 1979, the Islamic Revolution of Iran bore fruit; hence, the period from February 1st to February 11th has been named the 10-Day Dawn, and every year, special celebrations and ceremonies for the victory of the Islamic Revolution are held during these days.

Units of the Iranian Army and Defense Ministry as well as commanders, officials, and staff of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and Basij attended the mausoleum of the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) to participate in the ceremony this morning and paid their allegiance to the sublime goals of Imam Khomeini (RA).

They laid wreaths at the tomb of the founder of the Islamic Revolution.
