Iran Press/Middle East: Every year, millions of pilgrims from Iraq and other countries travel to Karbala on Arbaeen and mourn.
People have set temporary residence places and receive the Arbaeen pilgrims on their way to Karbala.
There are also Iranian and Iraqi Moukeb (roadside station) holders who serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein near the holy shrine in Karbala and along the way.
Due to the COVID outbreak, most non-Iraqi pilgrims have been restricted this year from traveling to the holy shrines to attend the Arbaeen ritual.
According to the agreement between Iran and Iraq, about 60,000 pilgrims from Iran are traveling to Iraq to attend the ritual.
