Iran Press/Iran news: Abbas Araghchi is set to hold a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Iraq, and Syria during this visit, focusing on recent developments. Additionally, Iran's Foreign Minister will discuss bilateral relations and regional issues with senior Iraqi officials during his trip.
During this visit, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will first consult with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein. Following this meeting, he will hold talks with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and President Abdul Latif Rashid of Iraq.
The Special Assistant to the Minister, Ali Asghar Khaji, and Mohammad Ali Bak, the Director-General for Persian Gulf Affairs, will accompany Seyed Abbas Araghchi during this visit.
Araghchi previously traveled to Damascus and Ankara, where he met with his counterparts in Syria and Turkey to discuss bilateral relations and regional conditions, particularly the recent developments in Syria.
During his meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's comprehensive support for the Syrian government, people, and military.
