New York (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the blood of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah would empower Hezbollah even more and lead to new growth within the resistance movement.

Iran Press/America: Speaking at the end of his trip to New York, Araghchi expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of the leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement, saying: "This martyrdom is a great loss, but it will not weaken the resistance. Just as the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s former Secretary-General, Sayyid Abbas Mousavi, led to the rise and increased strength of Hezbollah, I am confident that the blood of martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah will bring about even more power, motivation, and growth for Hezbollah."

Israel Will Never See Peace

Araghchi further asserted that Israel's actions would have dire consequences: "There is no future for the Zionist regime after what it has done in the region, Gaza, and Lebanon. They will never know peace. The natural result of this is that it has accelerated the downfall of the Zionist regime."

The Blood of Lebanese Martyrs Will Not Go Unanswered

Referring to the tragic events in Lebanon, Araghchi emphasized Iran's commitment to standing by Lebanon. He pointed out the U.S.’s involvement, stating, "The U.S. is complicit in this crime and cannot distance itself from this reality. The blood of the martyrs in this incident will not go unanswered, and we will certainly stand alongside Lebanon."

Diplomatic Efforts to Respond to the Crisis

Araghchi detailed the diplomatic measures Iran has taken in response to the situation. "Since the moment the news broke, we have worked tirelessly. I spoke at the pre-arranged UN Security Council meeting and presented Iran's stance in a press conference at the UN. I also held an urgent meeting with the UN Secretary-General and met with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), urging both the UN and the OIC to take action on this matter."

UN Must Be the Voice of the International Community

The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that the UN Security Council has proven incapable of resolving such crises, blaming the U.S. for obstructing any action. "However, this should not stop the UN Secretary-General from using all his efforts. He must be the voice of the international community and lead the world towards stopping the crimes committed by the Zionist regime."

Araghchi also revealed that he had requested an urgent summit at the OIC, and the Secretary-General agreed to consult with other member countries about organizing such a meeting.

The Region on High Alert

The foreign minister warned of the potential for an all-out war in the region, saying, "Everyone acknowledges the danger of a full-scale war in the region and is concerned about it. This is a major threat. We are on high alert, and countries in the region and beyond must recognize how critical the situation is. Anything can happen at any moment."

He concluded by highlighting his meetings with foreign ministers from Russia, Syria, Egypt, and several European countries, during which they discussed the necessity of confronting the war crimes of the Zionist regime and the importance of international opposition to its aggression.
