Iran Press/Iran News: Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi on Monday in a phone conversation with the representative of the Palestinian movement Hamas in Tehran, condemning the UAE's attempt to normalize relations with the Zionist regime, said: "Some reactionary Arab regimes in the region have had secret relations with the Zionist regime for a long time and they finally have revealed it under the pressure of the US."
"While these countries claim to support Palestine, but unfortunately they deal with the issue of Palestine very hypocritically which there is no way out just to reveal their relationship, hidden until recently," Ghazizadeh added.
The MP went on to say, "We hope that the Arab countries in the region will support both their Islamic beliefs in defending Palestine and their Arab manifestations. In other words, I must say that the Arab countries must defend their Arab and Islamic identities, but unfortunately, these reactionary countries sacrifice their identities for the sake of their relations with the occupying regime and Trump."
He noted, "I declare that we are committed to the Palestinian cause, even if we are left alone; That is, if a country in the whole world remains faithful to the Palestinian ideals, it is definitely Iran."
The UAE-Israel agreement has been widely criticized in the Muslim world. The Palestinian people in the West Bank set fire to the UAE flag as a sign of hatred for the normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.
In his telephone conversations with the Secretary-General of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement Ziad al-Nakhaleh and Chief of Hamas Movement Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called the UAE-Zionist Regime agreement for normalizing ties concerning and condemned it.
Hamas and Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement announced that they take joint actions against the UAE and Zionist Regime's agreement.
