Ansraullah lambastes Saudi closure of Yemen's airspace

The leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement condemned the closure of his country's airspace by Saudi Arabia even for essential trips.

Iran PressMiddle East: Abdul Malik Badruddin al-Houthi referred to the plane carrying the Israeli Prime Minister and his entourage, which used Saudi airspace to travel to the United Arab Emirates last week, saying that the Saudi regime, while closing the skies of Yemen to Yemeni citizens, kept the skies of Mecca and Medina to Israeli Prime minister open for traveling to the UAE.

According to Al-Masira news network, Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi said on Sunday night in a meeting with delegations from the tribes of Ma'rib, Shabwa and Al-Bayda' provinces: "Such meetings are very important to strengthen relations between the people of our country under the shadow of standing up and confronting aggression."

He added: "Social and tribal personalities have a great responsibility in connection with strengthening the brotherhood, understanding between the people of the country and blocking the way against the separatists."

Abdul Malik Badruddin also said in a speech on the occasion of Martyr Day on Saturday that the Yemeni people would never give in to the demands of the Saudi coalition and that in order to achieve peace, they must end aggression, siege and occupation.

According to Iran press from Al-Masira, Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi stated that the crimes of the aggressor coalition in Yemen are a disgrace to human society.

On April 26, 2015, Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries and with the help and green light of the United States, launched large-scale attacks against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, under the pretext of returning the ousted President Abd al-Mansour Hadi to Power to achieve its political goals and ambitions.

UN agencies, including World Health Organization and UNICEF, have repeatedly warned that Yemen's people continue to face famine and a humanitarian catastrophe that is unprecedented in the last century.
