Iran Press/ Iran News: On Thursday evening, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian talked and exchanged opinions with Ayman al-Safadi over the phone about the most important issues of interest to the two countries in bilateral and regional fields.
Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the necessity of the unity of the Islamic world, cutting off the hands of the Zionists from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the full vindication of Palestinian rights.
Referring to his recent trip to Amman and meeting with the King of Jordan, Amir-Abdollahian announced Iran's readiness to develop relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan also congratulated the government and people of Iran on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr and announced Amman's readiness to develop relations between the two countries.
Ayman al-Safadi emphasized: "Iran is an important country in the region and we attach great importance to the development of relations with this country."
While welcoming the restoration of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, he congratulated this significant development.
Ayman al-Safadi also emphasized Jordan's support for peace and stability in the region and the defense of the holy places in al-Quds against the aggressive actions of the Zionists, reminding them of the rights of the Palestinian people. 219
