New York (IP): Iran's Foreign Minister said that the President of Iran's act of holding the Holy Quran while speaking at the United Nations General Assembly session was a remarkable and attractive initiative even for non-Islamic countries.

Iran PressAmerica: Amir-Abdollahian" stated in response to the question of Iranpress about the salient points of the speech of the President of Iran in the General Assembly that regarding the family issue, he also discussed the global commitment to the family movement, which was welcomed by various countries.

Iran's foreign minister further emphasized that the idea of the global movement of commitment to the family should be well addressed so that an international movement in support of the foundation of the family is formed.

Amir Abdollahian noted that the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region and Iran's membership in BRICS and Shanghai were noted, because now a new page of regional and international cooperation has been formed.

Iran's Foreign Minister stated that the meeting with Egypt's Foreign Minister and reaching common understandings with this diplomat about how to improve the relations between the two countries was another prominent and important point of the visit of the Iranian diplomatic delegation to New York.

Amir- Abdollahian also mentioned his meeting with the Saudi Foreign Minister in New York and said that in the coming days, new events will happen in the expanding relations between Tehran and Riyadh.

Iran's foreign minister also considered the resumption of Iran's relations with Djibouti and Maldives as another important event in New York and said that each of these countries have political capacities and are members of the United Nations.
