Operation Al-Aqsa Flood Anniv.;

Columbia (IP) - The pro-Palestinian students gathered on the Columbia University campus to mark the first anniversary of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Iran Press/America:  The US students carried the flags of Palestine and Lebanon in their gathering on Monday, emphasizing the cessation of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the end of attacks on Lebanon.

Also, a group of anti-Zionist rabbis joined the pro-Palestinian gathering.

Last year, as the Israeli regime's massacre of the people in Gaza culminated after October 7, a student movement began in the US universities, first at Columbia University, and spilled over to other universities of the world including Europe.

Monday, October 7, was the first anniversary of the unique Operation Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by the Hamas Palestinian resistance movement and about 200 Zionists were taken captive in response to the regime's more than 7 decades of invading Palestine. Yet, the Israeli regime began an all-out war on the Gaza Strip which led to the massacre of more than 41,000 people.

Now, one day after the historic operation, the Israeli regime got grazier and began a war on Lebanon, too, on October 8, 2023; so far, 2,083 Lebanese people have been killed in the Israeli air raids on southern Lebanon.
