Iran Press/West Asia: The Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a missile operation against the Israeli regime on Tuesday evening in response to the Israeli regime's violation of Iran's territorial integrity as it assassinated Hamas leader Ismail Haniya in Tehran.
IRGC announced that the missile operation, 90 % of which hit the targets, damaged three military bases near Tel Aviv were hit by Iranian-made missiles, including the Nevatim Air Base.
Nevatim base, located in the Negev Desert, is said to be the largest Israeli military airbase that is house to the famous US-made F-35 fighter jets.
CNN reported on Wednesday about footage showing a significant concentration of the missiles fell "either at, or near, the headquarters of Mossad, Nevatim Air Base and Tel Nof Air Base."
It referred to the April 13 attack on the Israeli-occupied territories in response to the regime's bombardment of the Iranian consular section in Damascus, Syria; CNN referred to the Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari's admission that a number of missiles fired at Israel did hit the base, causing damage to the infrastructure of the base.
Sky News also talked about the videos getting viral on social media.
"While none prove the base was directly hit, or what damage may have been caused, taken together they strongly suggest missiles landed within its perimeter."
Anyway, Nevatim, is one of the largest military air bases in the Israeli-occupied territories, about 1,100 km from the western borders of Iran.
What do you think about the status quo of the very F-35 jets?
