West Asia (IP): An Iranian military advisor of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was martyred in an Israeli attack in Syria’s Baniyas.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Iranian advisor, Colonel Reza Zare’e, has been martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Syria’s western port city of Baniyas.

Citing eyewitnesses, the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights reported that three large explosions occurred in close succession in Baniyas shortly before dawn on Friday morning.

Iranian military personnel are present at the request and official invitation of the Syrian government to provide advisory services to help the Syrian military forces in the fight against terrorism, especially the fight against the ISIS terrorist group in Syria.
